Happy Retirement Ralph

Hi Everyone:  This is going to be a short post today.  I just got home from doing the Costco run and Lloyd and I had the world famous Costco Hot Dog and Chips for supper.  Not very nutritious but I do like them everyone once in a while.

The card I have to share today is for my DD's father-in-law who has finally retired, although I am not quite sure how retired he is going to be.  But whatever he is doing or decides to do, I am quite sure that he will enjoy himself.

Recipe

Stamps: Tropical Party, Teeny Tiny Wishes

Paper: Whisper White, Always Artichoke, Dusty Durango, SU DSP
Ink: Chocolate Chip, Always Artichoke, Taken with Teal
Accessories: Circle Punch 1 ¾”

Layer 1 measures 4 ¼” X 11” and folded in half to make the front of the card 5 ½” . To get a sharp crease on the fold, use the SU bone folder…it does an excellent job.

The top DSP layer covers about ½ of the card front, the other DSP is cut on the bias…to add interest and layered on Always Artichoke. The palm tree was inked with Always Artichoke and Chocolate Chip and stamped on the Dusty Durango layer and then layered on a piece of Always Artichoke. The drinks was stamped using Chocolate Chip and punched out and layered on top of the Dusty Durango layer. Finally, the flowers were stamped with Taken with Teal, cut out and attached using dimensionals. The sentiment was stamped using Chocolate Chip on the bottom layer.

Well, that's it for tonight.  Until next time....
