Hi Everyone and a Happy Valentine's Day. I hope every one's day was fabulous and there was a lot of love going around. Did you wear red and have those cinnamon heart candies?
The card I have today is for the Pals Paper Arts challenge 80 and also the Stamping 411 Saturday Sketch Challenge 190.
The Pals Paper Arts challenge is a vintage card where you could distress, layer and smudge to your heart's content. Stamping 411's challenge is a great sketch that I thought fit the vintage theme. Check out the websites for your inspiration.
Stamps: Bliss (Sale-A-Bration – p 10)
Paper: Whisper White Textured, Baja Breeze, Crumb Cake, Soft Suede, Elegant Soiree DSP
Ink: So Saffron, Crumb Cake
Accessories: Versa-mark, White Embossing Powder, Clear Embossing Powder, Crumb Cake Seam Binding Ribbon, Rosettes, Framed Tulips Embossing Folder, Big Shot, Distressing Essentials Kit
To gather the ribbon, a thread was pulled in the middle and the ribbon attached with sticky tape.
To achieve the vintage look, I distressed the edges of the Baja Breeze and the Crumb Cake CS using the file from the Distressing Essentials kit and sponged the edges with Crumb Cake ink. After embossing the Baja Breeze CS with the Framed Tulips Embossing Folder, the edges were sponged with Crumb Cake ink as well.
Enjoy the rest of your Valentine's Day evening and until next time...
