Birthday Card Stamp a Stack

Hi Everyone:  I have been neglecting my blog and blog visits this week.  It has been a busy week getting ready for the Birthday Card Stamp a Stack tomorrow.  I have 12 ladies coming and making 10 cards so that is a lot of designing and card stock cutting.  I think I am all together for tomorrow and I know we will be having FUN, FUN, FUN!!

Over the next several posts, I will be sharing the various cards that we will be making tomorrow.

So for the first one:

Stamps for Man Cards are usually hard to find, so this one, "Packed for Dad", is a great one.  I am thinking that there are a lot of different ways to use this stamp.  This card also smells very nice with the new Vanilla Emboss Powder that is available in the Occasion Mini catalogue.  Ooh so many things.

This card uses the Spotlight technique and highlights some the various man things to make them stand out.

To give this card a further man feeling, I used the spritzer and spritzed a little Soft Suede ink around and completed the sentiment with a Metal Brad

Stamps: Packed for Dad (w-125672 $ 11.95 p. 39 2012 Occasions Mini), Patterned Party (c – 123067 $22.95, W – 123065 $32.95, p. 68, 2011-2012 IB&C)
Paper: Not Quite Navy, Naturals Ivory, Very Vanilla, Soft Suede, Well Worn DSP
Ink: Early Espresso Craft, Soft Suede,
Accessories: Soft Suede Marker, Spritzer, Metal Brad, Big Shot, Circles Die, 1-3/4” Circle Punch, Round Tab Punch, Vanilla Scented Emboss Powder
