More Convention 2012

Just a few more pictures at Stampin' Up! Convention 2012.  This is the end of Day 2 and the excitement continues.  This morning the halls were buzzing as we waited to get into the general session.

The classes I have attended are excellent.. one by Brian Pilling on Leadership and what makes a great leader

Perception of you by yourself and by others,
Purpose - what is your purpose of being a great leader
Power - we all have power as leaders but how do we use  it

The second class was with Shannon West on "I am having fun".  Using your 5 senses to set the scene of Having Fun...What does fun look like to you?   We even got to dance and hand jive...smiling makes you feel better physically and emotionally.  Excellent session.

The Key Note Speaker was Jason Darcey and he spoke on the Generation Y and what makes them tick...and not tick...Mostly it's texting and social networking.

All in all it was a fun day and now I'm exhausted but it's a good exhausted feeling.

Here are some pictures from the day.

The Girls from Kamloops Dressed in our Finery....no one could miss us and we could find each other

Waiting in Line to get in the doors to the Open Session at 8:30

Waiting in anticipation for the opening Session You Could Feel the Excitement

My Blogging Friend Ann Schach from Ohio, we finally got to meet in person
As one day ends, another one will start.  Tomorrow's classes and Open Sessions will be just as exciting.

Here are a few more Swap Cards

Is your paper crafting wish list bigger than your bank account?
Do you live in an area where you don't have access to a stamping club?

Then, the Simply Said Online Stamping Club is for YOU!!

Until next time....

  4. Karen LOVE your photos. I agree with Lynn that the bright PINK was must have been easy to spot! Love it. Your hat is adorable.
The swap cards are great and I'm so jealous you got to meet Ann Schach in person. She was one of the first people I ever followed on a blog. Maybe someday I'll get to meet ALL my blogging gal pals! Have Fun. Hugs.
