Stampin Up! Convention 2012

Well, we arrived in Salt Lake City and have been doing some heavy shopping.  There is a new mall, the City Creek Center, that has wonderful store including a Brighton and you know what that means...some mega shopping.

On Monday we had a huge storm, thunder and a down pour but it didn't last long...but it has returned to being so hot...you have to drink lots of water to keep hydrated.

Of course we had to try out some restaurants that we don't have at home...like Applebees and Red Lobster...good food.  There is a Cheesecake Factory and I am sure that we will try that out along with the Olive Garden before convention comes to an end.

Yesterday, I did my first organized SWAP and we made 20 cards in about 4 hours.  Time went so fast but I got them done

I am sharing 3 cards that I made using supplies that other swappers brought

These cards were designed by other Stampin' Up! demonstrators and are beautiful.  There is so much talent and creativity.

Today, the Stampin' Up! Convention starts and all the demonstrators will be in one place.  I wonder what Stampin' Up! has in store for us and what announcements will be made that will surprise all of us.

So this is my post for Day 1 of convention and I will be back to let you know what else is happening.

Is your paper crafting wish list bigger than your bank account?
Do you live in an area where you don't have access to a stamping club?

Until next time...
