Anniversary and a Fashionista

What does an Anniversary have to do with a Fashionista.  Well, actually nothing.

I just had to share this picture of my granddaughter, who at the age of 5 is rapidly becoming the fashion guru of the family.  This is a hoot!

She showed up yesterday with this scarf wrapped around her neck even though it was 30 degrees C.  I asked her about the scarf and where did she get the idea to wear a scarf wrapped and tied around her neck.  The answer....Rachel Rae...what a hoot...

Ok now the Anniversary.

There are 3 Anniversaries within the next month and I did 3 cards and I am not sure who is getting which one so its 1, 2 and 3.

However, I am only posting 1 today and the next 2 will come later.

Stamps: Papillion Potpourri (c – 123759, w – 123757, p. 115, 2012-2013 AC), Memorable Moments ( c-126682, w-126680 p139, 2012-2013 AC)
Paper: Natural White, Whisper White, Midnight Muse, Floral District DSP
Ink: Midnight Muse, Rich Razzleberry, Raspberry Ripple, Island Indigo, Primrose Petals
Accessories: Elegant Butterfly Punch, 1” Square Punch, Postage Stamp Punch, Midnight Muse Satin Ribbon, Sponge Daubers, Daffodil Marker, Island Indigo Marker, Stamp-a-Majig, Versamark, Black Embossing Powder

The butterflies were first stamped with Versamark and then embossed using the Black Embossing Powder.  I then sponged on the main colours and used the Daffodil Delight Marker to colour around the center and the Island Indigo marker to colour the body.

I got this idea from from a card swap at Convention.  Right now, I cannot find the card...so, when I do, I will update you on who this idea came from.  I believe her name was Sue.

Is your paper crafting wish list bigger than your bank account?
Do you live in an area of Canada where you don't have access to a stamping club?

  1. Love that sweet girl. There is no pain when you are in fashion - well not until you get to a certain age and can no longer ignore the bits that hurt!
Your card is so pretty today with those butterflies ready to go. Anniversaries are most cetainly a reason to celebrate!
